National Parrot Sanctuary, Lincolnshire (20 mins from Skeggy!)

Set in a 176,000 sq ft, (5 acres) of landscaped gardens, the sanctuary is a picture of happiness and serenity. With over 1200 resident birds and plenty of room for any parrot that needs a long term home, by the end of 2007 we hope to expand this by a further 600,000 sq ft. Each aviary is designed so the birds can choose between being out and about feeding and cavorting where visitors can witness them or alternatively for the shy and retiring ones they can sit in their internal quarters and only make an appearance when there's only staff or security around the site, we leave it up to them.
We feel our success is down to being able to offer the birds choice, be it living within a colony of its own type or hanging about with a companion of a totally different species or even just hanging about with people and parrots, it's up to them. Our biggest asset is, we are big enough to offer all birds a permanent home so NO bird is ever put up for re homing and NO bird will ever be euthanased unless from strict instructions from our veterinary surgeon.

Professional Car Window Graphics Available Soon

We are currently in the process of having our logo (minus the "tribute" bit & the SLF logo) made into car window graphics. We've already got some samples (large one of which is on my rear window) and they're proper quality. Produced in White vinyl, they stick to the inside of the glass so are cut in reverse. The Large version, as in the photo, will be about £9.00 and the smaller version will be about a fiver. Each graphic comes with a set of fitting instructions too. The plan will be to put these on sale at future gigs but we will send them through the post if anyone would like to be amongst the first to be seen displaying our logo in their car.
